Recently, Burlington High School was recognized for receiving the Character award from the Professional Oklahoma Educators on the Senate floor. The award is given to those actively teaching character to their students and showing character throughout their life. Superintendent Spears along with staff members, Raye Lyn Bird, Natalie Hill and Addison Jenlink were recognized on behalf of the school by Senator Roland Pederson.
Thank you to all who have been impactful in character education for our students this past year. All teachers, staff and community members are a part of this award that recognizes Burlington as someone who focuses on character development.
